Wallet Age
What It Does
The Wallet Age widget analyzes how old the wallets are that recently bought or currently hold a specific token. It helps you understand the quality of holders, identify new-wallet inflows, and spot early signals of hype, bots, or long-term conviction.
The widget displays:
<1W Metric — % of wallets created within the last 7 days
<24H Metric — % of wallets created within the last 24 hours
Average Wallet Age — Mean age of all wallets that hold the token
Dynamic Color Indicators — The widget changes color based on the risk level associated with new wallet inflow
Share Button — Generate a Wallet Age Card to export or post on X (Twitter)
How It Works
The system analyzes each wallet on-chain and checks when it first appeared. Based on this, it categorizes holders into short-term (<24H, <1W) and long-term groups.
This allows traders to identify:
Spikes in newly created wallets → Often hype, speculation, bots, or aggressive marketing
Dominance of older wallets → Indicates stability, conviction, and reduced risk
Shifts in wallet age over time → Useful for tracking sentiment and accumulation phases
Color Logic (New System)
The Wallet Age widget automatically adjusts its color depending on how high the percentage of newly created wallets is.
🟢 Green
Low risk
Very few new wallets → stable, mature holder base
🟠 Orange
Moderate caution
Noticeable inflow of new wallets → growing attention
🔴 Red
High risk
Large percentage of new wallets → hype, bots, or speculative activity
This color applies to both the donut chart and the <1W / <24H display bars.
Why It’s Important
A token’s holder age profile is a strong indicator of market behavior:
Older wallets → More experienced holders, stronger conviction
New wallets → Often correlate with hype cycles, pumps, or short-term trading
Sudden color shifts → Early warning signals of momentum changes
By monitoring wallet age, traders can better assess holder quality, market sentiment, and risk levels.
Use Cases
Measure Market Confidence
A high percentage of older wallets suggests strong community conviction.
Detect New Inflows
Sudden growth in new wallets often signals rising attention, new exposure, or bot activity.
Analyze Holder Behavior
Helps determine whether momentum is driven by new adopters or long-term holders.
Color-Based Example Scenarios (All Image Variants Explained)
🔴 Image Example – High Risk (Large % of New Wallets)
When both <1W and <24H percentages exceed ~20–25%, the widget turns red.
Meaning:
Majority of buyers are brand-new wallets
Possible hype wave, bot traffic, or speculative trading
Market may be volatile or at early pump stages
This example:
<1W ≈ 50.9%
<24H ≈ 50.6% → Red = High risk & very young holder base
🟠 Image Example – Moderate Risk (Growing New Wallet Activity)
When <1W and <24H fall around 10–20%, the widget turns orange.
Meaning:
Noticeable inflow of new wallets
Increased attention but not extreme
Healthy growth with some caution recommended
Example values:
<1W ≈ 14.33%
<24H ≈ 10.91% → Orange = Moderate new-wallet inflow
🟢 + 🟠 Mixed Example – Healthy Balance
Sometimes <1W and <24H fall into different risk zones.
Example:
<1W ≈ 10.73% → Orange
<24H ≈ 2.95% → Green
Meaning:
Some new wallets over the week
Very few very-new wallets
Overall healthy and stable
→ Mixed colors = Balanced holder distribution
🟢 Image Example – Very Low Risk (Stable Holder Base)
When both values stay under ~5%, everything turns green.
Meaning:
Mostly older, established wallets
No signs of hype or bot inflow
Strong long-term holder confidence
Example values:
<1W ≈ 2.93%
<24H ≈ 2.04% → Green = Very stable, low-risk holder profile
