Moving Average

The Moving Averages Widget provides a quick technical overview of a token’s trend direction and strength by aggregating multiple moving average signals. It helps traders understand whether a token is currently in a bullish, neutral, or bearish phase.
Key Features
Aggregated Signals: Combines data from multiple moving averages — such as EMA, SMA, and WMA — across different timeframes.
Visual Gauge: Displays overall sentiment as Strong Buy, Buy, Neutral, Sell, or Strong Sell, based on indicator alignment.
Signal Summary: Shows how many moving averages indicate buy (↑), neutral (→), or sell (↓).
Why It Matters
Helps traders quickly identify the prevailing market trend without analyzing individual charts.
Confirms trend continuation or reversal signals, useful for both short- and long-term trading strategies.
Provides a data-driven confidence layer before executing trades or managing positions.
Use Cases
Trend Confirmation
Verify whether a token’s price movement aligns with a broader uptrend or downtrend before entering a trade.
Identify Entry and Exit Points
A “Strong Buy” signal may suggest early momentum buildup, while a “Strong Sell” (as shown above) could warn of potential downside.
Compare Tokens
Evaluate and rank multiple tokens based on their technical strength to spot the strongest performers in the market.
Combine with Oscillators
Use together with the Oscillators Widget to validate signals — for example, matching a bullish crossover with rising momentum.
